Hello everyone,

The State Library of WA is establishing a pool of suitable candidates for appointment to Library Officer vacancies, both fixed-term and permanent, part-time and full-time, as they arise.

The pool will operate for 18 months on completion of the recruitment process.

Successful applicants may be required to work rostered hours for a 7-day week operation including evenings and weekends.

A National Police Certificate (current within six months) will be required prior to commencement, as per the Department of Culture and the Arts Screening Policy.

LOCATION: This position is located in central Perth in the Culture Centre hub close to the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
To assist and support all day-to-day operations within the State Library of WA. This may include responding to client queries or providing technical assistance through various service points in the State Library, contributing to team activities that ensure the delivery of quality library services throughout Western Australia, and the preparation, preservation, support, provision and / or delivery of resources to clients across the State.

When: Monday, 24 September at 6pm for approximately one hour.
