Librarian: Ref 3515
Fixed Term 1 Year Part Time Contract (extension possible)
133 hours per 4 week period (Mon to Sun)
$55 000 − $59 500 pa (pro-rata)
Plus up to 11% superannuation

The Librarian is responsible to provide professional support for the efficient operation of the Nedlands Library Services by the effective provision, promotion and management of services and collections to library clients.

Applicants will possess a degree in a relevant discipline and be eligible for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). You will also be required to have thorough knowledge of and experience in public library practices and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as supervision skills.

Current ‘Working with Children Check’, ‘National Police Certificate’, “C” class drivers licence and ‘Senior First Aid Certificate’ are essential.

This position includes rostered hours comprising some weekend work and will involve working between Nedlands and Mt Claremont branches as required.
