ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (ADULT ACTIVITIES PROGRAM)
MAYLANDS PUBLIC LIBRARY
PART-TIME - 54 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
SALARY: $55,581 (PRO RATA) PER ANNUM.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a team, tasked with developing a 21st century library service in The RISE; a new state of the art multi purpose community facility.  The successful applicant will need to be an energetic, team oriented person with creative skills.  The position coordinates our Library Services' Adult Activities Program, undertakes customer service duties and provides administrative support to the Branch Librarian.  Some essential criteria for the position include:
*          Possess a tertiary qualification (or progression towards) that would allow Associate membership to Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
*          Well developed time management, organisation skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
*          Willingness to work rostered hours (i.e. evenings and Saturday morning).
*          Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in providing quality customer service.


LIBRARY CLERK (MORLEY LIBRARY)
PART TIME - 38 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
SALARY: $52,373 (PRO RATA)

Based at the Gerry Leeuwangh (Morley) Public Library, the successful applicant for this part time position will be an enthusiastic, customer service oriented and energetic person. The position assists senior staff to maintain an efficient, welcoming and user friendly library service. Some Key Criteria include:
*          Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in providing quality customer service.
*          Good written and verbal communication skills.
*          Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
*          Willingness to work rostered hours (i.e. evenings and Saturday mornings).
