Wanted :

Library professional - contract position, must have ABN

 

Details:

Part-time position (3 hours per week) for the ongoing maintenance of a
small Technical Library located in Cannington (near train station).

 

Duties:

Ordering, cataloguing and accessioning of new materials;

Maintaining circulation lists and standards collection;

Filling small number of reference requests and Inter-Library Loans;

Communicating/meeting with other Divisional Librarians when required.

 

Library System: DBTextWorks

 

Conditions:

Applicant must be a professional member of ALIA or a tertiary student
currently in the final stage of completing a Library/Information
Management degree.

Contract will be for an initial 3 month period with the option of a 9
month extension at the discretion of the Employer.
