Dear all

 

This is a big thank you to all 80 who made it to the dinner last night.
It seemed, from the noise and laughter level, that they enjoyed
themselves.  Paul Genoni's light entertainment certainly assisted in
this regard.  We had one student from Singapore, two former staff
members (Nancy Lane and Janette Wright) flew in from the East...

 

A big thank you too to the Alumni Committee (Jill B, Michelle L, Glenn
P, Ian S, Trevor W, Anthea H, Roy S) for their support, assistance and
meeting attendance.   And to Viv Barton for her assistance with this
event. And a big thank you to Committee member Trevor Wallis who has
another interest and donated some goodies from his Kyotmunga Estate -
you should check it out http://www.kyotmunga.com.au   and to former
student now entrepreneur Tracey Barker from Barker and Hale in Cottesloe
and Floreat Forum http://www.barkerandhale.com.au/   for their generous
gifts.

 

NEXT ALUMNI EVENTS:

 

21 October, 8 a.m.  Brekky at Scholars Restaurant Curtin Uni followed by
a half day 40th anniversary symposium on library education and related
matters;

November 11th, 5 p.m. tour of Notre Dame library with dinner after at
little creatures Brewery, Freo.
