ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (ADULT ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME)

MAYLANDS PUBLIC LIBRARY

PART-TIME - 38 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT 

SALARY: BAND 7, $55,581 (PRO RATA)

An exciting opportunity has become available to become part of a new era
as the City of Bayswater establishes a new library in The RISE; a new
state of the art multi-purpose community facility. The successful
applicant will need to be an energetic, team oriented person with
creative skills to coordinate our Adult Activities programme as well as
providing administrative support to the Branch Librarian.  

Some essential criteria for the position include:


Possess a tertiary qualification (or progression towards) that would
allow Associate membership to Australian Library and Information
Association (ALIA).
Well developed time management, organisation skills and the ability to
work unsupervised.

Willingness to work rostered hours (i.e. evenings and Saturday morning).

Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in providing quality customer
service.
