Subject: [WAIN] PLWA 2011 Conference - Registrations now open

 

REGISTRATIONS are now open for the "Inaugural PLWA 2011 Biennial
Conference - Public Libraries: Evolving" to be held at the Esplanade
Hotel, Fremantle, WA on Friday 1 April 2011.

 

Keynote speakers: John Blyberg,  is the  Assistant Director for
Innovation and User Experience at Darien Library in Connecticut. John is
also participating in an interactive concurrent session so plenty of
opportunities to see, hear and meet this self proclaimed "Library geek".

 

William Yeoman is the books editor from the West Australian newspaper
and will round out the day as he explores the interactions of text,
library space and more in a digital environment. 

 

In between, there is a feast of national speakers who will engage,
interact and inform on topics that will interest many at all levels in a
Local Government and Library arena.
