0.75 Full-time equivalent permanent position

 

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join the
enthusiastic and customer focused team at the Shire of Plantagenet
Public Library.

 

As Manager of Library and Information Services, you will lead a small
team of library staff, provide reference services to the public and
develop and deliver programs for a broad range of community groups.  You
will also be an integral part of the new Library development, due to
open in March 2011.

 

Applicants will preferably hold a tertiary degree in a relevant
discipline, however advanced progress towards such qualification will be
well regarded.  Applicants should also possess a current C class
driver's licence and a willingness to undergo a Working With Children
Check.

 

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government
Officers' (WA) Award 1999 and the Shire's Enterprise Bargaining
Agreement.  The position is classified Level 6 ($59,478 per annum
pro-rata).  The work hours will be flexible comprising 60 hours per
fortnight.
