System Improvement Coordinator - Commission for Children and Young
People and Child Guardian    

Brisbane CBD Location 

Permanent Full-Time position 

The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian is a
statutory authority which promotes and protects the rights, interests
and wellbeing of all children and young people under the age of 18. Our
vision is to build a better life for Queensland children and young
people, particularly our most vulnerable by improving the safety and
wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland. 

The purpose of the role is to identify, investigate, and implement, with
consideration of information systems capability, agreed improvements to
the Commission's information management framework with an awareness of
internal stakeholder needs, external service delivery capabilities and
systems potential. 

Within this role you will be required to: 

*         Promote the necessity and benefits of maximising outcomes from
effective information management systems within the Commission,
providing support and advice to internal and external stakeholders as
required. 

*         Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their
information management needs and identify possible system improvement
opportunities. 

*         Identify, scope, investigate and recommend proposed
improvements to the information framework and associated information
management systems in accordance with strategic and operational
information management plans, and through consultation with the Senior
Advisor, Information Management. 

*         Attend relevant industry and education forums to maintain
current and comprehensive knowledge of eDRMS (electronic document and
records management system) and potential for maximising system's
performance as approved.
