Dear those who live in WA/Perth

This will be an interesting seminar and the reduction in coast is a nice
gesture for students. I realise that it clashes with my morning Library
and Information Services Management class, but I have registered to
attend the seminar so will endeavour to finish class early so that those
of us who wish to attend can take in much of it.

Regards

Kerry

Subject: Library Seminar - discounted rate for Library Studies students

Hi Kerry

We would like to offer library studies students a special rate to attend
the "Necessity is the mother of (re)invention: the future for libraries"
seminar, to be held at the State Library on 28 April 2010.

Library students are welcome to attend the seminar at the reduced cost
of $75 for a full day, or $35 for a half day. The half day rate would
include either morning or afternoon tea, though not lunch. These
special rates are only available for a limited number of student places.
The students will need to identify themselves as a Curtin Library
Studies student at the time of registering for the conference. Note
that it is only library students that will have the option to attend the
seminar for a half day, all other registrants are required to book for
the full day.

I would appreciate it if you could circulate this information to your
library students. A copy of the flier and a notice about the seminar is
attached.

Thanks very much for your help.

Regards, Janet
