Hi 

Three ongoing positions for Information Analysts have become available
at the Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth offices of the Australian
Securities & Investments Commission. 

ASIC is Australia's corporate, markets and financial services regulator.
We contribute to Australia's economic reputation and well-being by
ensuring that Australia's financial markets are fair and transparent,
supported by confident and informed investors and consumers. 

The position's main responsibilities are: 

- to perform legal and financial reference and research work using a
variety of electronic and paper-based resources. 
- to provide intelligence gathering services using a variety of sources
including external agencies and electronic databases. 
- to assist with record keeping activities, including processing file
requests, archiving and disposal of corporate records in accordance with
policy and procedures. 
- to assist with the management of the Library collection including
purchasing and processing library materials, serials, circulation
functions, loose-leaf filing and current awareness services. 

The position would suit an enthusiastic and client-focussed professional
with complete or near complete tertiary qualifications in Library or
Information Management and experience in corporate or legal research, or
enterprise content management. 

The position is at ASIC 3 level (APS 4-5 equivalent). More information
