Dear colleagues

 

I would like to give you advance notice that my position is being
advertised in tomorrow's paper as well as online on the City's website.
It will be advertised as a 2 year contract as I am taking leave without
pay for this time.  I will be taking on some consultancy work whilst on
leave, so won't be completely out of the picture.  

 

If you are looking for a change, a challenge and some excitement, this
is definitely the job for you.  The position is part of the City of
Wanneroo management team, has a brief to strengthen communities, looks
after a team of 100 staff and has responsibility for a diverse range of
services.  These include libraries (4), museums (3), the Wanneroo
library and cultural centre, heritage services (ie municipal heritage
inventory, heritage education), public and community art and a community
engagement team that works directly with marginalised communities to
make their lives that little bit better.  The position is based at the
new Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre and you would be working with a
great team of people.
