Young Persons Librarian

Greenmount and Mundaring Libraries

37.5 hours/week





We are looking for an enthusiastic librarian who really enjoys working
with and delivering services to our younger clientele (1-18 years).  We
will consider experienced librarians, those recently qualified and those
who are still studying towards a qualification. 

 

The position will be equally split between both branches and the
successful applicant will be responsible for:

 

*        the junior collection development

*        delivering storytime and baby rhyme time

*        expanding the service to children and young adults

*        arranging holiday activities

*        promoting the service

 

Mundaring is part of the metropolitan area and you are within our
boundaries just 20 minutes after leaving Perth GPO.

 

This position attracts a salary that ranges between $56 016 and $63 989
per annum depending on your experience and qualifications. If you have
as yet not qualified the level will be lower.
