ASSISTAN 
ASSISTANT LOCAL STUDIES LIBRARIAN 
$56,811 - $60, 271 per annum

 An opportunity exists in the City’s Library Service for an enthusiastic 
Librarian with experience working in either Local Studies or 
Archives. 

The successful applicant will assist the Local Studies 
Librarian in the development and promotion of the Local 
Studies Collection and researching and providing local history 
information. 

Key attributes are: 
·        High level of reference, research and analytical skills 
·        High level of communication and interpersonal skills 
·        Sound knowledge of online systems and resources 
relating to Local Studies Collections 
·        A tertiary qualification in Librarianship or Archival Studies 
which is recognised by the Australian Library and 
Information Association.
