Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller exists
with this leading global provider of process solutions, technologies and
services for the mining and metallurgical industries. The company
utilizes its extensive experience and advanced process know-how by
providing plants, equipment and services based mainly on proprietary
technologies. Working in close partnership with its customers it
provides proven environmentally sound and energy saving solutions.
The scope of this role is to create, implement and maintain document
and records management policies. You will also be required to develop
procedures and workflows to support the requirements of the business
unit. In addition you will be responsible for promoting document and
records management services within the organisation.
Ideally you will have at least 1 year experience working as a Document
Controller and have a genuine understanding of Document Control Systems.
You must:
* Have excellent IT skills
* Be proactive, forward thinking and process driven
* Have high attention to detail
* Be approachable, personable and a team player
As the successful applicant you will be responsible for establishing and
maintaining effective systems for the review, approval and issue of
documentation. You will assist with the evaluation and implementation of
supporting system solutions and technologies.
Experience in Oil, Gas, Mining or Construction as well as a working
knowledge of document control programs such as Meridian, SmarTeam or
other EDRMS would be a distinct advantage.
