Hello everyone,

 

Regrettably, due to insufficient numbers, the LocLib pre-conference tour of The Place and subsequent dinner (Thursday 5 March) has been cancelled.  Many thanks to all who sent their apologies (but support) for the event.  There is a lot happening in Perth this week, including the CBC(WA) Night with our Stars, Festival of Perth events and more.  Who said that Perth is the city that always sleeps?

 

Our thanks to Joanna Andrew and the State Library Western Australia for offering to give us a sneak preview of The Place.  Keep an eye out for the official opening later in the year.

 

Our thanks to Child Education Services Bookshop for their generous support – a visit their shop at 96 Royal Street, East Perth will reignite the joy of children’s books in even the most crotchety of souls.  Their website: http://childeducation.com.au. 

 

Post-conference drinks at the Metro Bar & Bistro is still going ahead if this interests you.  (RSVP to lindapapa at bigpond.com)
