Youth Services Librarian – Maternity Leave role 

(6 month contract) 

Part Time – 38 hours per fortnight

The Town of Kwinana has embarked on an exciting period of growth and rapid change including the future development of a multi-million dollar Community Resource & Knowledge Centre that will house a library and cafe

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Youth Services Librarian, who is committed to providing top quality, client centred and innovative public library services for children and young people. 

The principal responsibility of this position is to develop, prepare, promote and deliver library programmes and services for babies, their carers, children and young people. 

This is a level 5 position with a salary range of $ $53,274.15- $56,217.89 (pro rata), dependant on skills and experience. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ Award (1999) and councils current collective agreement.
