Subject: [rmaa_list] RMAA Communication: Free Student Registrations
available for Annual Convention

The Records Management Association of Australasia (RMAA) will be hosting
its 26th annual International Convention in Adelaide, South Australia,
20-23 September 2009.

The theme "Striving 4 Balance" will address and discuss the challenges
and issues in meeting the balance between individuals, business and
government needs in relation to records, information and data management
and related business requirements.

We have planned a dynamic and exciting program which includes
presentations in two streams "New Thinking" and "Harnessing Technology"
as well as vendor case studies, panel and round table discussions,
workshops, site visits, special interest group meetings, a large trade
exhibition and as always, many great opportunities for networking
including a "Newbies" session.

The RMAA strongly supports education and professional development in the
records and information management industry and each year offers 10 free
registrations to students studying a records and information management
discipline in Australia or New Zealand. Students are responsible for
their own travel and accommodation costs as well as any social
functions, however the offer represents a large cost saving and more
importantly an excellent opportunity for learning and networking.

Eligible students should submit their registration form with a copy of
their current student ID card or a letter from their educational
institution.

Please see the Convention site: www.rmaa.com.au/natcon2009/ for more
information about the event and to download the registration program.

Kind regards
Kristen Keley
