The Records Management team is responsible for ensuring the Firm's
correspondence, both client, staff and administrative, is managed in
accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures. The team creates and
provides advice on file registration, tracking, records risk management
and
compliance, on and off-site storage and authorised disposal of records.
As a member of the PwC National Records team, you will be one of two
leaders of the Melbourne Records team. Your role will impact on our
business by improving the operational efficiency and contributing to the
profitability of the firm, as well as providing a very important
compliance
role. This role reports to National Records Manager (based in Sydney)
and
will be responsible for coaching and mentoring 2 direct reports, all
based
in Melbourne.
The key focus of this role is to supervise all aspects of records
management from file creation, through to file retention, closure,
archiving & destruction, in accordance with our Service Level
Agreements.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
Proactively managing relationships with internal clients and
external
suppliers
Creating and managing client and staff records in accordance with
PwC's National policy, with a keen awareness of the relative risk
management issues
Actively managing the Melbourne Records team, being responsible
for
the team's professional development and growth, effectively
rostering
and motivating the team to meet and exceed the core service
delivery
agreements
Ensuring the Records Management database/s are kept up to date and
accurately reflect essential metadata about the records
Ensuring that regular file audits are conducted to identify files
incorrectly stored, lost or overdue for return to records storage
facilities
Managing the archiving of records in line with approved policy and
procedures
Managing the transfer of records to and from the PwC Off-site
storage
provider and 3rd Parties is required
Manage the destruction of PwC records in line with approved policy
and procedures
Help Desk queries and requests for files are appropriately managed
-
demonstrating an understanding of city / site service operations
and
managing difficult or complex requests referred from team members.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills &
attributes:
TAFE or tertiary qualifications in the discipline of knowledge,
information or records management (desirable)
Minimum of 5 years records management experience
Experience managing & mentoring more junior staff
Previous experience using a Records Management System (such as
Documentum) would be highly desirable
Salary will be negotiated based on knowledge and experience
