Records manager

$45,000 - $60,000 pa

Birman & Ride is a boutique city-based legal practice committed to
implementing best practice procedures using cutting edge technologies.
To this end, we are collaborating with Overtech Technologies Pty Ltd to
develop ContactsLaw - an advanced legal practice and document management
software package designed to meet the needs of sophisticated law firms
in Australia and abroad.

We invite applications for this newly-created position.

The appointee must have:

*               a thorough understanding of computerised information
management systems;

*               a high level of critical thinking and analytical skills;

*               the ability to develop relevant management polices and
communicate them to others;

*               a hands-on approach to registering and cataloguing a
wide variety of incoming and outgoing documents;

*               a commitment to best practice procedures; and

*               sufficient flexibility and interpersonal skills to work
with others and respond to the changing needs of a small office.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications are preferred, but we will also
consider applicants without formal qualifications with experience in a
relevant professional environment.  

This is a full-time appointment but we may negotiate flexible hours or
part-time arrangements in appropriate circumstances.
