Dear all

Our recent "tradition" of seasonal breakfasts continues and our Summer Breakfast will be held on Friday 13th February 2009 (bad luck and all) at Kirribilli café, Curtin University, Bentley campus from 7.30 a.m. The easiest arrangement is for each attending to pay for their own breakfast. We are hoping that some of the Information Studies prize winners from 2008 will join us so that we can make their prize presentations at this event since our graduation ceremony will be held the next day and many students could/should be in town for that. I will be emailing them separately.

RSVP ESSENTIAL please for catering purposes to: Kerry Smith k.smith at curtin.edu.au

As an added attraction, Information Studies has quite a neat little library of donated titles from retiring professionals and we put aside any duplicates for "sale". There are some gems amongst the dross so on your way back to the car, please call into building 209, room 346 and see what you might like. We will make sure one of us leads the way. Cost? Gold coin donation for each title taken with all proceeds going into the Curtin University Information Studies Alumni prize fund.

Parking: the "green" student bays are free at this time of the year and there should be plenty in carpark P1 or P5A - see map http://old.properties.curtin.edu.au/common/documents/your_campus/maps/CurtinParkingMap2008.pdf The yellow bays are "no-go"; and there is always the pay parking.

We hope to see you at our first breakfast for 2009.
