Hello everyone
The WA branch of the Australian Law Librarians Association (ALLA) invites students to attend their 2009 icebreaker. This is a great opportunity to meet members of the profession and to find out a little more about working in a law library.
My contacts tell me that law libraries are struggling to attract applicants for job vacancies and they are particularly keen for recent graduates to apply. Also, there may be opportunities for current students to gain some experience while studying.
If you have any interest in working in this area or are curious as to what law librarianship entails I encourage you to take up the offer below.
RSVP is extended until Monday due to this late notice.
Regards
Glenn
