The Water Corporation, one of Australia's largest and most successful
water service providers, requires a Library Technican for a short term
contract position from Thursday 19th February through to Friday 6th
March 2009 in the Information Centre to cover whilst Library staff are
attending a two-week intensive training course for a new Library
Management System.

This position is responsible for:
* Providing an initial point of contact for Library client enquiries and
requests
* Sorting and distributing daily incoming mail
* Journal processing
* Shelving returned items
* Experience with using online databases for research
* Experience within a library environment with a strong focus on
customer services is required. 
Experience with Horizon Library Management System desirable but not
essential. 
Remuneration is dependant on skills and experience.
