Just to clarify that Curtin University Library anticipates having a
number of 6- and 12-month vacancies for Librarians early in 2010 and the
expression of interest is for those positions.

Expressions of interest for 2010 Librarian Vacancies at Curtin
University Library

We are not yet sure where the vacancies will arise but they may be:

*       undertaking reference work (f2f, by email, SMS and instant
messaging), 

*       developing information literacy material (in-print, electronic
or for f2f sessions) 

*       selecting or acquiring print and electronic resources for our
collections 

*       managing access issues (licensing, copyright etc)

*       contributing to our digital collections, e.g. e-prints and
research archives 

*       enhancing  access to resources through cataloguing, metadata,
journal linking software, web tools etc

The positions would suit new or experienced librarians. (Salary range
approx. $50,000 - $62,000)

We pride ourselves on being an innovative library providing excellent
service to a large and diverse group of students, teaching and research
staff.
