Information Enterprises Australia is seeking applications for an
experienced Records Coordinator.  The contract is for 5 months, working
3 days per week.  The contract is to start ASAP.  The Client is a State
Government organisation and is based in the Perth CBD.  The annual
salary is $57192 - pro rata.

 

The Records Coordinator is responsible for providing an effective
Records Management service for the organisation.

 

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

 

Essential

1.       Sound knowledge of records and information management software
and technology, with demonstrated and relevant experience in a corporate
environment.

2.       Very good interpersonal skills, along with a level of personal
awareness that enables the promotion and practice of the organisational
values in a team based environment.

3.       Demonstrated knowledge of records management principles and
practices including the development and application of records
management tools - i.e. business classification scheme (thesaurus),
policy and procedures, retention and disposal schedules.

4.       Knowledge of legislation impacting on the keeping and
management of records.

5.       Demonstrated ability to undertake projects and deliver outcomes
within time and budget constraints.

6.       Through leadership and team building skills, develop and
maintain a cohesive and focused Records Management Service. 

7.       Well developed verbal and written communication skills
including a strong customer focus.

8.       By applying the principles of equal opportunity and diversity,
and occupational health and safety, have a demonstrated commitment to
developing a work environment that provides mutual understanding,
respect and equity for all employees and clients and is safe and
healthy.


 


Desirable


1.       Knowledge and experience of records management within the state
government sector.

2.       Possession of or progress towards a relevant tertiary
qualification.
