Dear Dr Smith,

Thank you for returning my call this afternoon and I was sorry to have
missed you.

Care Options is a Community Services Organisation based in Rockingham
but covering the whole of the SW Metro area from Fremantle to Melville
and south to Mandurah and the Peel Region.

We provide both In-home and Centre Based Services for the frail aged and
people with disabilities to facilitate their independence and avoid
premature or inappropriate admission to residential care.

We have been established for over 10 years and in the last two years
have been going through a very good growth period with plans for this to
continue in the future.

As a result of developing our internal Policies and Procedures and
investing in a new IT system, we are now in the position where we need
to have some professional assistance in establishing an effective
records management system for both hard copy and electronic records.

Our archiving methods to date have been a matter of 'sticking files in
boxes' and placing them where they can best be forgotten!!

We have recently advertised for and interviewed for a Records Management
Coordinator and were very happy to present an offer to one of the
candidates only to have the offer rejected as an alternative opportunity
arose with a large commercial organisation against which we could not
compete.

On re-thinking our requirements we are now considering the possibility
of employing a Graduate who has shown some initiative and desire to work
in the Records Management area and who would be prepared to take on a
task which, whilst offering some very good 'learning opportunities'
would also require some very sound application of principles and a lot
of hard work.

I attach a copy of the Job Description for the position, which we
initially see as a 12 month contract, with the possibility to extend,
depending upon the achievements completed and the success of the
organisation in attaining its' desired growth.

It will be a full time, 38 hour week opportunity, working Mon to Fri and
will be at our offices in Rockingham.

Further details of Care Options can be obtained from our web page at
www.careoptions.org.au <http://www.careoptions.org.au/>

If you would like any further information, please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards

Yours sincerely

David W. Farrell
