Subject: FW: [WAIN] F.A. Sharr Medal Event 2008!
Dear colleagues
Thank you for your assistance in encouraging and nominating recent
library and information degree or diploma graduates to apply for the F
A Sharr Medal. We had a very strong field of applicants from Curtin,
ECU and TAFE and we do hope you are available to join us for this event.
Could you please also promote the F A Sharr Medal to students at your
respective institutions? Please let them know that there is a
discounted price for library and information studies students - $22.
The F A Sharr Medal is a prestigious award highly valued by library
employers and therefore should be something students are aware of and
working towards. We are hoping for another strong field of candidates
in 2009.
Thanks and we hope to see you at the event.
Kind regards
Jill
