Subject: Seeking Casual Records Project Officers

Hi Marg,

UIM have been granted through the strategic reserve an extention of our
funding for the Inactive Records Project. I am looking for 2 full time
equivalent positions to fill the vacant and new positions that were
granted through the funding until the end of the year.

Do you have any students in their last year of studies that may be
interested in working on the project? Part time work is fine as we will
fill the positions will the equivalent part time hours as needed.

Essentially the work is to retrospectively sentence backlogs of inactive
records within various depatments across the university and either
submit the records to UIM custody and/or apply for and carry out
authorised destruction of records.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and interested in records
and archive management who have attention to detail and are looking for
some hands on experience. The positions are Level 3.

If you need a more formal advertisement for the DIS-List please let me
know and I will send one through to you.

Many thanks,

Kind regards
Michelle
