Library,Catholic Institute of Sydney
The Veech Library at CIS is looking for an energetic, motivated and
innovative senior library technician. This is an opportunity for you to
play a role in the work and development of one of the nation's most
significant theological libraries.
The senior library technician will assist in the day to day running of
the Veech library by contributing to acquisitions, reference,
cataloguing and circulation activities. The role has particular
responsibility for maintaining the acquisitions system, the management
of donations and for assisting with the maintenance of the Veech special
collections.
Essential are completion of the Diploma of Library and Information
Services (or equivalent), a minimum 2 years library experience and a
willingness to work according to the principles and values of the
Catholic church. The position is for 30 hours per week with some
rostered evening and weekend shifts.
