Dear students
Gaby Haddow, Glenn Pass and Kerry Smith will be attending the Information Online conference in Sydney 20-22 January 2009 and Gaby is giving a paper. We would like to meet up with as many of our students as we can, who might also be attending the conference. And if you live in the Sydney area, are not attending the conference, but would still like to meet us at breakfast, please let me know.
Gaby's apartments (at the back of the Convention Centre) have an informal café and we will be there for breakfast on THURSDAY 22 January 2009, from 7.30 a.m. and we hope that you can join us. The details are:
Terakaza Café
Level 2, Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments
243 Pyrmont Street
Darling Harbour
The menu is simple and includes:
Bacon & egg rolls $5
Plate of bacon & eggs $10
Coffee $2.80
Toast
Juice
and other light breakfast fare.
The café essentially works as an informal sit down café or take-away.
We would like some idea of who can join us so please email me if you can make it.
Seasons greetings to you all from Information Studies here at Curtin Uni
