(and with apologies to those who cannot make this momentous event)

DATE:  Monday 1 September 2008 - let's welcome in Spring, (even though
we need more rain in Perth);

TIME: 10.30 a.m. +

VENUE: Curtin Uni bldg 209, room 346

WHY?: Fellowship; 
Meeting our new appointment Gaby Haddow, AND
The opportunity to buy some wonderful collectors items of earlier
editions and surplus copies of library monographs - for a gold coin
donation each book.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY MONEY?  It goes to the Curtin Information Studies
Alumni scholarship fund.  We at Info Studies have been working on this
fund for some time, with our main fundraiser being an annual quiz night
held in conjunction with Library and Information Week.  

CATERING: By Info Studies staff, although if you are a yummy cake cook
and would like to make a contribution to the table, we won't say no.

See you then and we trust you work hard during the upcoming week free.
