Expression of Interest - Murdoch University - Casual Library Officer HEW
Level 3/4  - 20 hours per week Casual rates start at $23.85 per hour

 

An opportunity exists for a highly organised, customer focused person to
lead the Attending (shelving) team at Murdoch University Library.

 

This is a casual position of 20 hours per week. The position involves
coordinating the attending / shelving operations, training and rostering
of staff, and looking after the day to day functions of the Attending
team - under the direction and supervision of the Enquiry and Loans
Coordinator.

The successful applicant would work as part of this team doing attending
/ shelving work, plus may also have rostered shifts on the Enquiry and
Loans desk.

 

The successful applicant needs to have highly developed interpersonal
and communication skills. They will need to be able to successfully lead
a team of staff under the direction of the Enquiry and Loans
Coordinator, and work effectively as part of that team. Much of the
position revolves around organising and prioritising workflows to ensure
the successful operation of the Attendants work processes.
