Our client is a large organisation looking for a Records Coordinator for
a 6 week contract with the possibility of an extension.

The role requires an individual who can meet the following criteria:

# Ensures the records systems and practices comply with relevant policy,
standards and procedure including the requirements of the Record keeping
Plan.

# Responsible for thesaurus development and maintenance.

# Complies statistics and reports in regards to record management
issues.

# Creation and closing of files and volumes.

# Relevant experience in a computerised records management environment.

# Sound knowledge of records management practices including archiving,
classification and indexing methods and techniques.

# Well developed interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

# Experience in maintaining a functional and administrative thesaurus.

# Knowledge and an understanding of the principles, practices and
statutory requires for record keeping

# Ability to work as part of a team
