I have great pleasure in announcing that the State Library is now
calling for applications to our Graduate Program for 2008.  

The SLWA Graduate Program has been developed as an opportunity for
graduates to participate in a structured, developmental program
consisting of work placements plus training and development
opportunities.  The Graduate Program offers Librarian and Library
Technician graduates a twelve-month program and several full-time
positions are offered for the 2008 program.  

This year we hope that at least one of our appointed graduates will have
an interest in either History or ICT.  

A link to the advert for the Graduate Program positions is attached, and
we anticipate the Graduates will start in early January 2008.
