Hi Margaret

We appreciate your assistance with this. Attached is the position
description for the application support position that we are currently
trying to fill. Initially the person would be working with our VDX
software. This is complex software that enables libraries to automate
their ILL and document delivery services. Our customer base includes the
NLA, NLNZ, 14 universities, 2 state libraries and all the Victorian
public libraries. Our office is in Footscray. We provide support 7 to 7
Monday to Friday so the person would be required to work shifts -
starting at 7am or finishing at 7pm and working a 7.5 hour day.  This is
a permanent fulltime position and will offer the right candidate an
excellent career opportunity. As discussed, we expect the starting
salary to be $50k plus 9% superannuation but this is open to negotiation
if someone has relevant experience. 

 

Our ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable in a technical
environment, enjoys problem solving, has an understanding of libraries,
and excellent verbal communication skills. OCLC PICA is 100% owned by
