Hi Folks

Many of you will have done your archives project at New Norcia.  Wendy
is retiring and the profession is having a farewell for Wendy on the 30
November at the Curtin Club.


BCNN Archivist Retirement

Wendy McKinley will retire as Archivist for the Benedictine Community of
New Norcia (BCNN) in mid-December 2007. Wendy has spent over twenty
years as Archivist at the BCNN. The Archive of the BCNN is one of the
main sources of information about the community.  It is a major
repository of the community's 170 year history. Wendy has spent time on
the committee of the ASA and the Catholic Archives Board, she is well
known in many archive circles such as the Battye Library of Western
Australian history, the ASA School Archivists, and the Religious
Archivists. The ASA WA would like to invite you to celebrate Wendy's
retirement with us and Wendy at a cocktail party followed by dinner.

Venue: Curtin on the Park, Curtin University of Technology

Time: 17:00, Nov. 30 2007

Cost: Cocktail Party-$10.00, Dinner-at cost
