Subject: [WAIN] Library Assistant - 12 week contract (ECU Joondalup)


Expressions of Interest are sort for a short term contract "Library
Assistant" at Edith Cowan University (Joondalup Campus).

This is a 12 week full time contract (with a possibility of extension).
Start date is ASAP. 

Salary HEW 3: $37,585 - $41,980 plus super. 

This position is located within the Library Collections and Access team
on the Joondalup Campus. 
The role is responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective
ordering, accessioning, adaptive cataloguing and processing of library
materials in all formats. 

Your expression of interest should briefly address the following: 

1       Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience OR an
equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of
education, training and experience.

2       Proven skills with relevant computer based systems (including
keyboard skills).

3       Demonstrated ability to undertake tasks that require extensive
physical activity (eg shelving, packing and unpacking materials).

4       Willingness and ability to undertake in-service training.

5       Ability and preparedness to undertake evening shift and weekend
duties.
