Subject: Seeking Graduate of Corporate Information Studies
Importance: High

Hi Marg

Further to our conversation last week, I'm looking to interview
potential candidates to fill a contract Level 2 position of Corporate
Information Officer (Indexing), with our Corporate Information section
at DEC. This position will be vacated by a permanent officer to take
up the Acting Team Leader role for several months. I'm looking for a
graduate who will have displayed a keen interest in and sound
understanding of the concepts of keyword classification, and if they
have any work experience in indexing even better.

There are three indexing streams within the Corporate Information
section, each dealing with different areas of the business. To give you
some details on the position:

Salary and conditions:
*	Level 2 Contract Position with a starting salary of $42,017.00
gross per annum.
*	Contractors are entitled to the same leave entitlements as
permanent officers.
*	7.5 hours per day (1/2 hour lunch).
*	Start time varies from 8am to 9am, based on a roster system
(usually one 8am start each week).

Main duties include:
*	Liaising with clients on Departmental functions and activities
*	Providing advice to clients on matters relating to recordkeeping
*	Creating files using the Department's keyword thesaurus
*	Assigning Retention and Disposal codes to files
*	Indexing and registering documents
*	Using the Objective Electronic Document and Records Management
System

If there's anyone you can think of who fits the bill and is looking to
get into government I'd appreciate it if you could forward their CVs for
me to have a look at.

Regards,
Gwen.
