The Records and Archives Office is a dynamic centre that provides
services to Curtin for the management of records. This includes
recordkeeping advice and training, managing a collection of active and
inactive records and ensuring the University complies with legislative
requirements.
As an Archives Officer you will support the Archivist in providing a
records and archives management service for the University. This
involves assisting in the identification, collection, control and
preservation of the University's archival records and with the
management of the retention and disposal of records.
You will have a diploma or certificate level qualification in a relevant
discipline and or the equivalent of relevant experience and training.
Effective communication and problem solving skills along with experience
in the arrangement, description and sentencing of inactive records is
essential.
