Vacancy for Young People's Services Librarian, Shire of Mundaring
Library & Information Service
       
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic librarian who will
be responsible for planning, promoting and implementing high quality,
innovative library programs and services to the youth of the Shire. You
will be a people-person, innovative and computer-literate, but above all
you will be enthusiastic.The position is based at Greenmount Public
Library but the successful applicant will also work at Mundaring Public
Library on a regular basis.

You will have:
*          successfully completed a tertiary qualification in
librarianship as recognised by ALIA.
*          excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise
with people in an informative, positive and friendly manner.
*          an ability to relate to the needs and interests of youth and
an affinity for children's literature.

A salary in the range of $44,917 to $51477, dependent upon
qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Local
Government Officers (WA) Award 1999 and the current EBA, is offered. For
