Hello fellow students,

I also have some textbooks for sale, all of which are in excellent
condition.  They are:

"Introduction to reference work" (8th ed.) by William Katz (volumes 1 &
2, both hardcover) - $50 each (purchased new in 2005 for about $85
each).  Essential text for IS201/511 Information Provision.

"Information seeking in the online age: principles and practice" 
(1999) by Large, Tedd & Hartley (hardcover) - $30 (purchased second-
hand in 2005 for about $70).  Recomended reading for IS201/511
Information Provision. 

"Looking for information: a survey of research on information seeking,
needs, and behavior" (2002) by Donald Case (hardcover) - $80 (purchased
new in 2006 for $138, Curtin bookshop is selling for $207.25).  Was the
recommended text for IS302/502 Information Behaviour, which is now known
as IS302/502 Information Theory & Research.

"Enabling knowledge creation: how to unlock the mystery of tacit
knowledge and release the power of innovation" (2000) by Von Krogh,
Kazuo & Nonaka (hardcover)- $50 (purchased new in 2006 for $65).  This
book was required to answer one of the tutorial questions in IS303/533
Knowledge Management Principles semester 2 last year. 

"Library and information center management" (6th ed.) by Stueart & Moran
(softcover) - $40 (purchased new in 2006 cannot remember how much for).
Recommended text for IS301/513 Library & Information Services
Management.
