Subject: [Hum-DIS] Do you have a Knowledge Management Principles
(KMP)textbook(s) to sell?
Dear students who have studied and passed KMP 303/533
I am posting this message as I see that one student has used this list
to alert you to text books for sale.
There was considerable discussion in KMP last semester (sem 2, 2006)
regarding the high cost of the KMP books. Reference titles in most of
our units do not come cheap these days. There is no set text, but the
Abell & Oxbrow (2001) title: "Competing with knowledge: the information
professional in the knowledge management age" is one that is
particularly recommended. The key references from last year will remain
useful in 2007. I have just found out from the Curtin bookshop that it
is now out of print.
If you wish to sell any of your KMP books then please email this list
before the beginning of semester 1 (O week commences 19 Feb 2007) with
your email details and the title(s) so that interested students can
contact you.
With thanks
Kerry Smith
Unit coordinator
KMP 303/533
