Subject: Seeking a keen graduating student with knowledge and
proficiency in descriptive catalogue
Hi Chris,
The Department of Agriculture and Food Library is seeking to employ a
graduating student who has knowledge and proficiency in descriptive
cataloguing. It would also be an advantage if they have had some
exposure to using the Millennium library system.
We are converting our Departmental pamphlet collection from the manual
cards system into the Millennium catalogue. We are looking for a keen
graduate student proficient in AACR2 background keen to do descriptive
cataloguing of the pamphlet collection as well as go through a weeding
process with the pamphlet collection.
The position will be available for 6 weeks starting as soon as possible,
at a library technician level (Level 2). We are keen to hear from
interested students by12th or 13th December.
Many thanks,
Regards,
Irene Kustra
