Part-Time Environmental Science Librarian (Temporary) HEW H0506

Murdoch University Library is seeking a recently graduated librarian or
a graduating librarian to work as a part-time Reference Librarian in the
Liaison Services section of the Library, with specific responsibility
for environmental science. Duties include providing specialist services
in reference, information literacy and collection management for
academic staff and students in environmental science. In addition,
participation in general reference and information services within the
Library will be required. The position is a fixed term contract from
10th September 2007 to 4th July 2008 for 12 hours per week initially and
will include some evening shift work.

Enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the
ability to work effectively in a team and competent IT skills are
essential.
