Subject: [WAIN] Advertised temporary contract at the Library,Dept. of
Agriculture and Food

The Department of Agriculture and Food Library is seeking a qualified
library technician for 4 weeks to transfer long term loans into the new
Millennium library system.

 

Duties will involve using the circulation system with some editing of
copy data in the cataloguing module.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

Diploma in Library/Information Studies or approved equivalent

Demonstrated knowledge of library practice, library procedures, and
information management

Experience with automated systems and the Internet

Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Experience with Microsoft Office suite

 

Desirable

Knowledge of Millennium or Dynix library system
