and treatment, care planning and short-term psychological interventions to children and young people aged 5-17 going to going to Noble Park English Language School (P-10).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica Neue";color:#333333;mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">Use your excellent clinical skills in working with young people and their families/carers with mental health issues in an early
intervention framework and your experience in the provision of a range of psychosocial assessments, psycho-education and short-term interventions to young people experiencing moderate severity mental health difficulties. You will have a thorough understanding
of the mental health and broader service system, experience in working within a P - 12 school context, have worked with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and understand the challenges faced by refugees and migrants.<br>

Your demonstrated understanding that young people will present with a range of social, emotional and behavioural problems and proven ability to work confidentially and productively with a high level of tact and diplomacy will hold you in good stead.<br>

<b>What you'll be doing</b><br>
<br>
You'll build relationships with the community as you deliver services at schools to work within the child's natural settings. Establish a potential client's needs (through discussion of the presenting issue/s) and determine the client's suitability for headspace
services by undertaking psychosocial assessments with young people for services utilizing the HEADSS assessment tool.<br>
<br>
Deliver brief evidence-informed psychosocial interventions, mental health literacy and short-term psychological interventions to young people and their families where appropriate, as defined by the needs determined by assessment.<br>
<br>
Provide mental health related information i.e. psycho-education regarding the nature of mental health and drug and alcohol problems, information services available and how to access these, and evidence-based group programs for children/young people at the school.<br>
<br>
Engage young people and families in early help seeking and provide a seamless and coordinated treatment pathways including accessing headspace centres Dandenong and Narre Warren and other community services.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
