detention (particularly offshore) on the mental health of asylum seekers, particularly children. We have recently supported the call of doctors at the Royal Children’s Hospital <a href="http://www.psychology.org.au/news/media_releases/16Oct2015/" target="_blank">http://www.psychology.org.au/news/media_releases/16Oct2015/</a> for
all children and families in detention to be released into the community while their refugee status is determined and agree that appropriate care cannot be provided in a detention environment. </span></p>

to ratify the UN’s Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT) </span></p>
