</span></strong><span style="font-family:'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size:10pt">is an academic psychologist and writer.&nbsp; Described as &quot;a brilliant feminist critic of the neurosciences&quot;, the Guardian suggested that her recent book, Delusions of gender: The real
 science behind sex differences, &quot;could have far-reaching consequences as significant as The Female Eunuch.&quot; &nbsp;Cordelia studied Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, and Criminology (M.Phil) at Cambridge University. She was awarded a Ph.D in Psychology
 from University College London.&nbsp; She is currently a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Agency, Values &amp; Ethics at Macquarie University, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Keynote

</span></strong><span style="font-family:'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size:10pt">research passions are social justice and the nurturance of children.&nbsp; At the macro-social level this means focus on public policy and the feminization of poverty; at the meso-level,
 on cultural exclusion and silencing of children and trauma; at the individual clinical level focus on trauma recovery and protection and recovery from violence. Research involvement includes the leadership and resilience of migrant and refugee women; women
 in PNG and Indigenous people. Katie has conducted industry and social profiling for government and NGOs at national, state and local levels. Her experiences as academic, clinician and human drove her most recent publication Human Life Matters: a documentation
