<P><FONT size=2>Dear All,<BR><BR>The fourth international Community, Work and Family Conference will <BR>take place on 19-21 May 2011 at University of Tampere, Finland. The <BR>conference intends to stimulate debate on current issues, <BR>controversies, developments and cross-national research related to <BR>community, work and family and their interface.<BR><BR>The conference focuses on a number of contemporary and emerging themes such as<BR><BR> * Active citizenship<BR><BR> * Care: ideas, practices and policies<BR><BR> * Flexibility, security and restructuring the life course<BR><BR> * Climate change, communities and sustainable work<BR><BR> * Work, family and life integration<BR><BR> * Globalization, insecurity and localities<BR><BR> * Diversity of families<BR><BR> * Ruptured structures and everyday realities<BR><BR> * Ageing, gender and work<BR><BR> * Restructuring organizations, management and well-being<BR><BR><BR>that present the challenges and opportunities for communities, <BR>organisations and families in the era of rapid changes and <BR>transitions. The conference has special focus on the interactions <BR>between actors, structures and theories. The orientation is <BR>multidisciplinary, and different theoretical, methodological and <BR>empirical orientations and issues in relation to community, work and <BR>family are welcomed.<BR><BR>The international community, work and family conference is connected <BR>to the Journal Community, Work and Family (CWF) published by Taylor & <BR>Francis.<BR><BR>CALL FOR ABSTRACTS<BR><BR>Abstracts between 250-500 words should be submitted online. Time for <BR>submissions is from 8th March 2010 until 30th September 2010. <BR>Abstracts will be peer reviewed.
