<DIV>Travel support available for SCRA Biennial in New Jersey (June 18-21, 2009)<BR><BR>The Society for Community Research and Action has alloted a total of 2000 US dollars to support people from outside of N. America to travel to New Jersey to attend the 12th Biennial Conference of the Society for Community Research and Action.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>Applicants are requested to contact Serdar M. Degirmencioglu, chairperson of the International Committee at <A href="mailto:s_degirmencioglu@yahoo.com" rel=nofollow target=_blank ymailto="mailto:s_degirmencioglu@yahoo.com">s_degirmencioglu@yahoo.com</A> as soon as possible and certainly before May 1 2009 with an estimate of their travel expenses, including visa fees, an explanation of why they are not eligible for funding for conference travel from any other source (from an employer, charitable foundation etc.) and an outline of any relevant circumstances.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>Please note that priority will be given to applicants who do not have any funds for travel. Since separate funding is available for students*, this announcement is for people other than students who would like to be considered for limited support with travel costs.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>Decisions regarding travel support will be made by May 15 and applicants will be notified immediately.</DIV>
